The remaining rounds of the championship include a South Island double‑header that could decide it all. Different tracks. Same goal. Zero room for error.
Three rounds into the season, the championship is Three rounds into the season, the championship is already shaping into a highly competitive battle, with small points margins and consistent performances playing a major role across the field.

Out front, Chris Symon leads the standings on 721 points, having built an early advantage through strong and reliable results. Behind him, the fight for second is extremely tight, with Edward Meyer on 538 points holding just a 6‑point lead over Liam Nicholson on 532, meaning a single race finish could easily change the order.

The battle intensifies through the top ten. Yoshi Comeskey (445 points) and Cooper Prout (439 points) are again separated by only 6 points, while Rookie Cooper Insley sits sixth on 424, firmly within reach of the top five. Just behind him, Liam Foster (407 points) and Bob Dillow (406 points) are split by a single point, highlighting just how close the midfield fight has become.

Rounding out the top ten, Koby Gooch (371 points) and Darren Henderson (313 points) remain well positioned as the championship develops, with plenty of racing still to come.

Further down the standings, drivers such as Daniel Petersen, Alicia Kelly, Ben Williams, Ian Foster, Dave Scammell, and Mitch Dennis continue to build momentum, where every completed race and gained position remains critical for championship progression.

With minimal gaps across the field and consistent pressure throughout both the Master and Rookie ranks, the 2025–2026 Hi‑Q Components NZ Formula First Championship remains wide open. As the season moves into the next rounds, every lap, point, and finish will count.

Chris Symon storms to victory, holding off Liam Foster in a razor-thin finish, with Yoshi Comeskey scoring his first-ever Hi-Q Components NZ Formula First podium in third β€” a huge milestone for the young Saber Motorsport driver.

It was a tough one for the rookies and rising stars β€” Cooper Insley’s race was marred by early contact with Yoshi, forcing him to the back of the field. Cooper Prout narrowly missed a podium after a post-race penalty for passing under yellow, while Liam Nicholson was on for a podium result before a last-corner, last-lap trip through the gravel ended his charge.

⭐ Top Master: Bob Dillow put in a composed and consistent drive, steering clear of the chaos to comfortably claim top master honours and finish inside the top four overall.
